The Nguru Mountains are a mountain range in Morogoro District, Tanzania, Africa. The mountains are predominantly covered with rainforest, are abundant with 83 species of bird life (Romdal 2001), and are the home of African violets. There are a number of forest reserves in the mountains.
The Nguru Mountains form the beginning of the rim mountain range which continues through Ussagara and Uhehe and extends to the Nyassa. Parts of the range rise to 2130 metres. The main outflow of water from the mountains is via the Wami River.
